Otoplasty - Cosmetic Ear Surgery

Otoplasty is carried to reposition or reshape the ear. Be it of any shape – protruding, small, elongated – otoplasty helps a big deal in reshaping or repositioning the ear, and thereby enhancing the beauty of the face. The incision necessary for the otoplasty is usually performed behind the ears so that the scar will not be easily visible. After surgery, the incision area is covered with bandage for faster healing. The bandage also ensures that the new position of the ear is not disturbed.
